MacPinball seemed at first like a decent pinball game for Mac but was on the whole rather disappointing.
This game offers you three different tables (plastic, wood and table), none of which are too difficult to play with.
MacPinball has both a top and bounce camera view. You can play alone or decide to pit yourself against a friend. If you believe you've reached a high score you can even post it onto the developers website to compare with other players.
The 3D graphics looked rather poor, just as the sound effects were definitely not up to par. The game also definitely lacks music, which would have added a bit of excitement to it.
To make things, worse, the table jiggles way too much during the game, making it a real ordeal to play through a session. We suggest checking off that feature in the options.
MacPinball has a fixed set of keys you use to control the table, which unfortunately you won't be able to customize.
MacPinball is a basic pinball game.
