Maccy is a lightweight clipboard manager for your Mac. The application preserves a clip history and helps you use it in other contexts. With a minimalist interface, the tool doesn't clutter your view, so you can focus on your work.
The program is very easy to use. It is designed exclusively for one thing - namely, to keep a history of whatever you copy at hand, so that you can reuse them with ease. The tool doesn't have any Preferences or additional settings to tailor. The only available options are a clip search, clear your copy history, and launch the app at login. Unfortunately, the search feature doesn't function, so you are forced to browse your clips manually. You are provided with a list view of your clips that displays partially the first line of each one. However, if your hover your mouse over a clip, it will display its full content. The latest nine clips can be copied using predefined shortcut keys. Older clips need to be selected to enable the copy function.
In short, Maccy offers a straightforward solution to reuse clipboard content. What is great about this tool is that it is free and open source, giving you the possibility to further optimize its features for your needs.
