MacBrickout is a very enjoyable and challenging arkanoid game in which you need to destroy all the bricks using a paddle and a ball in order to advance in levels. The levels include different layouts and they offer different types of bricks, which may have power-ups and downs inside of them. They will be dropped when you break the bricks and you need to collect them as they fall. Some power-ups include extra lives, extra balls, a larger paddle, bonus points, among many others. Unfortunately, there's no description of the power-ups and downs, so you will need to figure them out by yourself.
You will notice bugs going from one side to the other of the ground that you can hit with the balls or power-ups you lose. This also gives you points. You need to be careful with flying bubbles which make your ball re-bounce when you hit them. There are also two circles in the upper part of the screen which make the ball reappear on the other side of the screen if the ball touches them. The game offers simple graphics and sounds, and no music.
In short, if you are a fan of arkanoid games and you are looking for a challenging and enjoyable game to pass the time, MacBrickout may be a good choice.
