Mac Free Disk Player is a simple application that covers basic audio and video playback needs. The program is designed for home users looking for a straightforward solution to listen to music and watch movies or video clips at their convenience on a Mac.
The utility opens with a clear-cut and easy-to-manage interface. The tool supports loading files from your media library or directly from Blu-ray discs. Unfortunately, you don't have the ability to create a playlist for continuous playback. Yet, you can search by chapter or title when dealing with DVDs. The app comes with basic controls that allow you to enable and, respectively, stop the playback, adjust the volume, and take snapshots. Playing back video files in full screen is supported, but customizing the image in terms of brightness or contrast isn't possible.
