Runners can be classified in two groups - the ones who are weighed down with MP3s, heart rate monitors and GPSs and the others, the low-tech types that don't need all the blinking and beeping. If you're in the second group, you might be interested in LittleRunner, a simple approach to keeping a running log that can be sorted by Run number, Date, Run Type, Route Time, Distance and Speed.
The LittleRunner concept is simple. You come home from your run and hit New run. The window that will pop up has all the fields you'll need and once they are all filled in, the run will appear in the main panel. You must specify the route you took on the run, but you can add these as you're recording the run or input them separately and later choose them from a drop-down menu.
Apart from displaying and sorting your run, LittleRunner also totals up your numbers, automatically backs up your logs and allows you to print or export the data. It's a really simple little program, but it's comfortable to use and works well. LittleRunner includes all the data you're likely to need to document your runs and prompts you for information so your logs are always complete.
If you're an old-school, low-tech runner, you'll love LittleRunner!
