L.a.C.f.o.S.T. is a short gamecreated in GB Studio, and my submission to Lewd Jam #1.

The main theme for the jam was "Hard to handle", which worked out well for me as I'd had an idea for the premise beforehand which arguably fit the theme twofold:

Clive finding the delivery van"hard to handle" after that family of hedgehogs showed up;Borderline sentient adult toys needing a swift kick before they can be handled safely...

In hindsight, creating a game based onSCP-297 would also have been a valid choice...

The optional theme, or "Spice Pack" was "POV", and wasn't implemented this time around, although it's got me thinking just how in the heck a first-person reimagining ofL.a.C.f.o.S.T. would look...

Making the game was quite a learning experience; I've been dabbling with GB Studio for a while, but this is the first GBS project I've actually seen through to completion.Cards on the table,L.a.C.f.o.S.T. is an ambitious beast, boasting large sprites with a substantial amount of animation... and the performance certainly takes a hit. It's also pretty messy under the hood; I've certainly learned a thing or two about improving my GBS workflow. This is neat; I'll definitely be using it again.
