In order to be able to correctly communicate my ideas with foreign clients or co-workers, I need to use an effective translation tool. Linguarde, the desktop version for Google Translator, is designed to offer a solution for these situations.
The only thing you will need to do when translating words, phrases or even entire text documents would be to enter the text content and select the input and output languages. An aspect that caught my attention in a good way was its ability to translate texts to a number of international languages.
In addition to that, you don't have to wait long for the results and they can be easily saved to RTF documents. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the program didn't allow me to save the translations to more popular text formats, like DOC or TXT.
I also noticed that the program works well with the browsers. While I was typing an e-mail, if I double-clicked over a word, Liguarde instantly displayed its translation to any selected language.
The biggest drawback of this application definitely comes from its inefficiency to translate more complex phrases.
