While it might be tempting to draw comparisons between Life Makeover and games like The Sims 4, this game is much more limited in what the player can do. The gameplay is focused more on customizing the appearance of the player’s avatar. There is a narrative to experience, however.

Life Makeover gives the player a high degree of customization options over their avatar, from changing the player’s facial features to adjusting the size and shape of individual body parts. It is also possible to change things like eye and hair color, as well as choose from a variety of eye, mouth, and ear types.

Style a home and live a social life

Aside from the player’s avatar, it is also possible to style the clothes and home of the character. Once the avatar is styled, the player can then negotiate a social life and play through some immersive stories. The social element of the game focuses on relationships with friends and romantic entanglements.

A visually impressive game

At its core, Life Makeover is close to being a casual/idle game, though the visuals in the game are of a higher quality. Fans of visual novels may also find Life Makeover entertaining, as it has much in common with that genre. The same could be said for dating simulators.
