Left 4 Dead 2 is the sequel to 2008's zombie-killing shooter. The game keeps its first-person perspective, and it still manages to make killing zombies a lot of fun. The campaign mode picks up, where Left 4 Dead left off by adding five new missions. The story mode takes you and your three friends down to the south to continue your escape from the infestation of deadly zombies.
The gameplay has seen quite a few new additions, that make it better than before. Perhaps, the most noticeable change is new types of zombies, that you need to fight. These zombies are deadlier than ever before and incredible gruesome. The weapon's system remains pretty unchanged, except for the nice secondary close-range weapons that you can use, like chainsaws, swords, crowbars, etc. Shooting still has an arcade feel to it, which severs the spray-the-crowd type of aiming and shooting. In other words, aiming is pretty much useless, and your best bet is to spray the crowd with everything you have got.
There are two new modes to play this game online. One of those modes makes two teams take turns in trying to pour gas into a power generator. The team that pours more gas will win. As easy as that sounds, zombies will get meaner and meaner while you are trying to do that.
All in all, Left 4 Dead 2 is an excellent game that has improved a lot over the original game. It has a great campaign mode but the fun really comes from the multiplayer mode.
