Leawo Mac iPod Converter is a commercial video converter. It can be used to convert your video files to formats that can be played on the iPod lineup. Those formats are MPEG-4, H.264 and MOV, which are all formats that will also play nicely on other Apple devices, most computers and some gaming consoles.
Its graphical user interface is very nice. You just can tell that effort was put into making it look so good. There is a video player for quick video playback, and a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness and saturation. At the bottom of the screen, you will find the conversion settings and profiles. There, you will find conversion profiles for all the iPods, and you can even adjust some of the settings. Some of the available profiles are for the iPod Nano, Classic, Touch and Video.
In my testing, I converted an MKV file into the H.264 profile for the iPod classic. The process took a little under 30 seconds for a 1-minute clip and the result was a nice-looking MP4 file that played great on my iPhone and in VLC.
In short, this is a nice converter, which comes with a nice editor, and boasts a good-looking interface.
