Learn Lightroom 4 Retouching edition is an application that includes seven different tutorials on how to use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 to retouch your images to make them look better and more professional. Raw files, those used to make the tutorials, are also available for download, so that you can repeat the steps taken during the making of the tutorial to attain the same results. There is also a gallery with all the images used before the edition and after it.
When you launch the application, you will see links to eight different videos. The first one, called Introduction, shows all the images that you will see in the other videos, along with a comparison of how they looked before and after conversion. You can click on the "play" button next to any tutorial to start playing it in a separate window. The video windows can be resized by dragging and dropping in the bottom-right corner, but I didn't see any way to go to full screen.
All of the tutorials are narrated and a nice screencasting application was used to record mouse movement and keyboard strokes, so it is really easy to follow what the narrator is doing.
In conclusion, this application, which costs only $5.99, is a really good value, especially considering how expensive training for applications like Lightroom is. You will probably need to practice a lot to get the same results that are shown in the tutorials, but all the needed information seems to be included in them.
