Learn Foreign Languages 2.2.1

This program is, as its name suggests, an educational tool for Mac users who wish to learn a foreign language. The application provides you with various dictionaries, includes plenty of fun yet effective teaching methods, and helps you keep track of your language study progress.

You can choose between a wide variety of language vocabularies and learn the meaning of dozens of words, practice what you've learned so far, and check your statistics. The testing method that I enjoyed the most was the Memorizer where your goal is to match tiles containing words or expressions written in a foreign language with the squares holding their translation in English.

Another good aspect about this program is that it also provides you with dozens of English proverbs translated into languages like Spanish, German, and Russian.

The only thing that bothered me while testing this application was the fact that it occasionally displayed ads. You can get rid of this problem by making an in-app purchase and buy all dictionaries and tests.

To sum things up, this simple Mac application provides you with an entertaining yet efficient way to study a foreign language. The program brings an intuitive interface with nice animations, comes with an integrated speech tool, and gives you access to various language tests and games.
