Learn Dutch Deluxe 1.1

This utility was designed for Mac users who wish to practice their Dutch speech and writing skills. The application features a user-friendly interface, is packed with various types of fun activities, and provides you with multiple flashcard sets for studying.

Learn Dutch Deluxe gives you access to the following activities: Vocabulary Trainer, True or False, Spelling Test, Hangman, Anagram, Word Search, and Memory Match. The app doesn't provide you with instructions. In my opinion, you don't need a help guide as they're all popular word games and you can easily guess their correspondent rules.

Word Search was my favorite activity. The objective is to find the translation of a given word (from English to Dutch) within a board filled with letters. The game is complete once you find all 12 words on the board.

Only two things bothered me about this program: nothing happens when enabling text-to-speech feature and not all content is available for free. You need to make an in-app purchase in order to unlock all Vocabulary Trainer items, True or False game, etc.

To summarize, this application provides you with a fun and effective way to learn and test your Dutch spelling and speech skills. In my opinion, you should give it a try and then decide if it's worth buying its full version.
