Laplink Gold 14.1.17.0 (Laplink 2008) is a program that allows remote control and file transfer between PCs.
The program allows you to connect with a remote computer using any available connection: a modem, dial-up networking, a Local Area Network, Internet, or an USB or Serial Cable.
Any of these connections will allow you to control another PC remotely, transfer files or synchronize two PCS located in different places.
The software works with every Windows operating systems, and connects automatically through firewalls and proxy servers.
The trial version allows you to use the program for 30 days. You must register the trial, giving your Name, Company, Country and an email address.
You will be able to access any computer in the world, providing that computer has Laplink Gold active, and you are authorized to access that computer in its Laplink´s configuration.
You can even have a text chat or voice chat with anyone sitting at the remote computer, use the remote computer´s printer or see the remote desktop.
I've been using Remote Desktop Connection Manager for a while now and it's been a great tool for managing multiple remote connections
