Lacona is a utility that helps you boost up your productivity while working on your Mac computer. This program provides you with a quick and simple way to launch tools, open documents, look for information online, define reminders, search word definitions, and so much more.
The tool lives on your Menu Bar from where you can configure its settings according to your needs and access the search window. You can define a shortcut key for immediately revealing the search screen on your desktop.
Lacona is basically a more advanced version of the Spotlight utility. All you need to do is to enter your command in the search bar and select one of the suggested solutions. For example, you can type "quit Preview", select the first suggestion from the given list, and hit the Enter key. The default Mac program will immediately shut down.
