This interesting application called LabelsWin will help you identify the priority of your files by colors . It will allow you to change the color of your file icons that enables to classify them by category, i.e. files such as “personal”, “cool”, “private”, “hot”, “projects”, etc.
Changing the color of your file icon is an easy way to visualize with a quick look , how important is your document and what classification this information belongs to.
Also, you will have the opportunity to change the color of your folders! (another way to classify projects). Labelling your files can be used as a visual cue. Assigning colors is a way to identify that a file or a folder belongs to a specific project or to a set of valuable information. As the developer says, "labelling" was a privilege only for Macintosh users!, but not any more, Windows platform has it too!
