V3 has Smart Object compatibility that allows users to easily modify their images as they go. Smart Objects, a feature introduced in Photoshop CS2, allows the user to place a PSD document within another PSD document. By simply double-clicking on the Smart Object in the Layers palette, the image can be modified or replaced and it will automatically update.
