Kplan (also known as Kplan Person, Kplan Personal, and Kplan EN) is a free application that offers us the possibility to have three agendas within a single interface. This program features a calendar, a notebook, an address book, plus a documents library. We can set the default monthly calendar or change it into many different formats. Within one panel it is possible to view an hourly planner, as well as a full year calendar, with lots of possible combinations in-between, such as a daily/weekly diary, two/three/four months calendar, etc. What makes this program special is the fact that when we are introducing our contact's details, reminders, notes, appointments, etc., we can select under which category this data will be displayed. The three categories available are: family life, social life, and professional life. In addition, if we want this data to appear under two (or even three) categories, this is also possible. As for the address books, notes, documents, website pages, e-books, etc., there are some predefined groups and subgroups that can help us with the initial classification, although we are allowed to add/remove categories, and sort them as we like. The address book lets us upload one picture/image for each entry. We can preview and print the calendars, notes, address books, and the documents. We can also import our contacts from Outlook or a text file. We can get this program completely free. The user interface is quite friendly. There is also a more advanced shareware version called Kplan Plus.
