Kiritori is a simple-to-handle Menu Bar utility that enables you to take snapshots of your desktop. You can choose between 4 output formats (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, and GIF), send the screenshots to your clipboard, and print the snapshots directly from the program's interface.
The application lets you define your own hotkey combination for immediately taking snapshots. After you create the screenshot, the tool allows you to choose the preferred output format or quickly delete it from the app's history.
One of the things that this screen capture tool really lacks is an option to edit the final snapshots. Other applications from the same category as Kiritori usually offer you several image editing tools to help you add annotations, geometrical shapes, etc. to your screenshots. This program doesn't have these features.
Another disadvantage is the fact that the application doesn't provide you with an option to define a global hotkey for taking the fullscreen snapshots.
Hence, I think you can find better screen capture utilities that aren't lacking useful features and are free of charge. But if the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you, you should definitely give this app a try and see whether it meets your requirements or not.
