KidSurf is a simple browser intended for little kids where parents can select exactly what sites their kids are authorized to open. You can select a certain list of authorized sites for every kid you have and they will be represented with a different colored face. The application includes an extensive list of websites for kids that can be easily assigned to the faces by checking the corresponding boxes. You can add up to four faces and you can also add the sites you want for each of them.
Moreover, the application allows you to create a web-based email account for all your kids, so they can easily and securely access them from the program.
On the "Parents" screen where you add new sites there is a security menu in the upper left where you can set a password. This stops the child from accessing the parents menu and also prevents them from exiting back to the desktop. The menu also allows the parent to set a usage timer so the child does not spend all day on the computer.
