What is Kemono Onsen about?

Kemono Onsen is about is the main character(you) is who ended up with some debt due their background. After some time, their debt is picked up by a new collections agency who provide you with a new home and line of work as part of a new experimental debt relief program. This brings you to a new city with their own rules and laws which are very loose on things like dress code, sex, and more. Only time will tell if your new life is for the best or worse.
