KavaMovies is a movie database and movie manager for the Mac. It lets you find movies, and organize the movies that you have seen, those that you want to see, and the movies that you already have in your collection. When you run the application for the first time, the top 20 movies will be listed on the screen. There is no clear way to know what source the application uses for those top 20 movies. It is not IMDB's top movie list, so it could be simply weekly popularity. It could also be random. The movies will be added to the movies list and the front covers will be shown at the bottom of the screen. You can sort movies into seven different lists: All movies, Want to see, Don't want to see, Seen it, Haven't seen it, Got it, and Haven't got it. The application lets you add new movies by typing their names, and some information about those movies will be automatically downloaded from the Internet. Those movies in the top 20 are very easy to add to any of your lists. All you have to do is click on them and select the list you want to send them to.
For each movie, the application retrieves some artwork (front case or poster most of the time), year, genre, keywords, languages, and cast. And you can add information to them as well. There are links that take you to the IMDB, Wikipedia, iTunes, and Amazon pages for each movie. And there's a Torrent button that starts a search on "Torrents.to".
Disk Doctor will free up disk space by removing cached and unneeded files from your hard drive.
