jUploadr is an efficient application that helps the users to upload their photo collections on Flickr without being required to open a web browser. It was mainly designed for Linux, but it also runs smoothly on popular versions of Mac OS.
The application has a compact and intuitive interface; you can quickly drag and drop images on its layout and press the Upload button or apply a few basic editing techniques and tags. jUploadr includes a previewer and displays name, size and dimension details. Images may be part of a set and uploaded as either public or private (visible to friends, family).
Geotags may be included or edited to pinpoint to the exact place the photograph was taken.
From its main window, jUploadr allows users to group up multiple images as photosets and upload them to Flickr at the same time. The utility can automatically resize large images to a specified dimension before uploading.
Note that in order to use jUloadr, authorization to the Flickr account is needed.
The application runs fast, saves time and is free which makes it ideal for any Flickr user.
