The goal of this project is to create a small and easy to user Java utility for version checking and updating programs. A few Java classes have to be plugged into an existing program and then provides the ability to synchronize the contents of the program's JAR file versus a server's JAR file. The updater can then update any changed classes individually, without requiring the user to download the whole program again. The updater also comes with a server part written in PHP. The server control panel allows the administrator to upload new JAR files when the program is updated. The server part then marks any updated classes, updates the version records and allows the admin to append messages explaining what was changed.
