Jr. Vet is a free and very funny children's game that will result especially interesting for those kids who feel inclined to protect animal welfare. The game takes place on an animated, virtual veterinary clinic where children can move around, pick up different kinds of veterinary elements, and use them for curing some animals that have got into trouble.
Inside the game, there is a virtual veterinarian that will guide the player through the curing process of each injured or sick animal, step by step. The game gives the chance to configure some options, like the difficulty level (from easy to normal and hard), the graphics mode (between 16 and 32 bits), and the choice of curing all the animals again when the game is restarted. It also allows children to personalize the game by inserting their photo, and "cut out" their face and place it on top of the virtual veterinarian's. Moreover, the first time you run the game (and this time only) it allows you to select your age according to three different groups: 4 to 6, 6 to 8, and 8 or more.
The developer's website offers two versions of it - this free demo and the full ("commercial") one, which (according to the website) is free "for a limited time". The developer might change his mind at any time, so go and grab the full game for free while it lasts.
