Joboshare iPad Rip is a complete iPad management tool. It allows you to both put content on your iPad and to download mostly anything from it. You can copy its music, movies, photos, ringtones, SMS list, contacts, call lists, and books. This app should work with any iOS device. I tested it with an iPhone 3G and it was detected fine and every feature that I tested worked without problems.
The graphical user interface consists of two panes and a toolbar. The toolbar houses buttons that you can use to download and upload content and manage files on the device. The pane on the left shows your connected devices and underneath them, it will display buttons that take you to the music, movies folders, etc. The right pane will show all the data that is on your device. When you want to download an item, you can simply check it and click on the appropriate button to select where you want to download it.
The trial version allows you to both download and upload a few items before you have to register the application, which should be enough to evaluate how it works. In my case, I had no problems putting music on my iPhone with this tool. I also downloaded photos just fine.
