Jinni is a simple program for Mac that helps you keep track of your daily tasks. This Menu Bar application might come in handy whenever you're dealing with a busy day and need an easy solution for remembering which chores to complete during the ongoing day.
The utility adds a new icon to your Menu Bar from where you can control the way it operates. You can enter as many task entries as you need, edit their details if necessary, and remove assignments once completed.
I like the fact that you can organize the entered tasks in any order you like. What's more, you can define a global hotkey for revealing the app's main window.
In my opinion, a task manager should also include a reminder feature to let you know when it's due time for a certain assignment. Unfortunately, Jinni fails to offer you this advantage. Also, the app didn't let me mark tasks as completed (nothing happened when I clicked the check mark symbols).
As a conclusion, you can install Jinni on your Mac if you're happy with the amount of features it has to offer. Personally, I prefer working with more capable programs that allow me to set reminders or mark tasks as completed, such as Wunderlist or GoodTask. So, it's up to you to decide whether it's worth installing Jinni on your system or not.
