The de facto tool for previewing Half-Life models is Mete Ciragan's Half-Life Model Viewer. However, the current version doesn't support the new texture features of the Half-Life engine. To get around this, the developer modified the source of the v1.25 of the Half-Life Model viewer and added support for these features.
