Work with a Java-based manager for online auction tracking and processing. Enable the monitoring of bids and individual auctions, snipe the evaluations, track individual sites, check the logs for previous encounters, etc. Switch between prices in different currencies.

jBidWatcher is a Java-based application allowing you to monitor auctions you're not part of, submit bids, snipe (bid at the last moment), and otherwise track your auction-site experience. It includes adult-auction management, MANY currencies (yen, pound, dollar [US, Canada, Australian, and New Taiwanese], Swiss Francs, and euro, presently), drag-and-drop of auction URLs, a unique and powerful 'multisniping' feature, a relatively nice UI, and is known to work cleanly under Linux, Windows, Solaris, and Mac OS X from the same binary.

Currently it is only implemented for eBay, but it is abstracted suitably to work with any online auction site with a minimum of changes.

It is under active development, and issues are quickly responded to. Bug reports and feature requests are always welcome, as are praise and complaints.

v2.5 [Apr 3, 2012]
- Fixed auctions showing up as fixed price
- Help folks with the change in paste behavior in some dialogs
- Many internal code cleanups
- Change the default columns to no longer have the item number, and instead include the thumbnail
- Obey the user’s requested database name when it’s configured for MySQL
- Some small improvements to dropping auction info on JBidwatcher
- No longer prompting for ‘quantity’ on snipe; dutch auctions are long-since dead
- Fixes to make eBay Motors work again
