iTeleport Connect is a free application for Windows and Mac that simplifies the process of accessing your computer using iTeleport from anywhere (using 3G, EDGE, or WiFi). iTeleport gives you full control of your computer's mouse and keyboard while providing a rich visual display of your computer screen on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
iTeleport does two things: first, it enables Screen Sharing / Remote Management (aka Apple Remote Desktop on Tiger) if it isn't already running, and sets it to allow VNC connections with a VNC password; next, it connects to the Google Talk network to allow iTeleport to create a network connection to your Mac. Without iTeleport Connect, you would have to configure a host of complicated settings yourself — so it's a huge improvement over other apps.
ScreenSharingMenulet searches for hosts (local, Back to My Mac or custom) which are available via Remote Frame Buffer.
