iTag is a software which uses the information stored within MP3 files (so called ID3 tags) to rename the files. grab it here. It uses the id3lib, because QuickTime is too stupid to get it right. id3lib is released under the GPL, so developer had to make iTag open source as well and so the sourcecode is available on website
