iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter allows you to convert your DVDs to video files. You can play these files on your iPod, and pretty much any other device that supports MPEG-4 or H.264 playback. The app allows you to load DVD movies or IFO files (which is helpful if you have copied the DVD files to your hard drive). There are a few conversion profiles for the iPod touch, iPod Video, iPod Nano and iPod Classic. You can also use the profiles for the touch if you have an iPhone.
Using the app is very easy. You just have to load your DVD disc and all the DVD titles that comprise the movie will be shown. You simply then select the title that you want to convert, choose a format and start the process. If you want, you can select the audio track and subtitle that you want to use with your video file.
This ripper comes with a video editor that allows you to edit and crop your videos and add a few different effects and touch up the video.
All in all, iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter works well, it supports the formats that are needed for video playback on various iPod devices and it has video editing features.
