iSkysoft DVD to iPad Converter is a commercial DVD ripper. The application allows you to convert your DVD movies into files that play well on your iPad. Although the iPad is mentioned on the application's title, other devices like iPods, iPhones and many mobile multimedia playback devices will play files converted by this tool just fine. This ripper can convert files to MPEG-4, MOV, M4V, MP3, M4A, AAC and WAV.
Graphically, the app looks nice. It has a simple and clean interface with a video player for quick video previews. The app lets you trim and crop your videos and to add effects to your videos. This is a nice addition and it works well.
iSkysoft DVD to iPad Converter lets you choose the audio track and subtitles that you want to use in your final file. Subtitles will be hard-coded onto the video.
Although there are conversion profiles that you can use, not much is said about each profile's settings. You can go into settings and manually change some of them, though.
All in all, iSkysoft DVD to iPad Converter works well, it supports a few different formats and it has video editing features. Price-wise, it is on par with other similar converters by other companies.
