iShowCal, the shortest way to your iCal events. iShowCal is written for one purpose: giving a quick view of upcoming iCal events, just one mouse click away. This is done by adding an entry to the menubar of your screen.
You can select which calendars iShowCal should use. Next you can select if iShowCal should display the events in the menu (Tasks will be added in the future). If you want you can limit the number of events iShowCal should display.
