Unlike iTunes' own one-way mirror-synchronization iPod.iTunes leaves your content intact, nothing will be deleted during synchronizations (add-synchronization).

iPod.iTunes can also transfer song dependent meta data like "My Rating", "Last Played", "Play Count", album artwork, etc...
