Inpaint is an image editing utility designed to remove unneeded objects from your digital photographs. This type of Mac programs come in handy if you need to quickly hide skin imperfections from portrait pictures, remove watermarks or conceal other types of elements that don't belong in your photos.
The tool is very intuitive, so having access to a help guide isn't a necessity. All of its editing utilities are simple to handle and require minimum knowledge in graphics editing. Simply mark the area you wish to conceal with the red marker and click the "Erase" button.
Other useful advantages include the fact that you can undo as many editing tasks as you need, the option to compare the original with the resulting picture with just one click, and the ability to save your output profiles for later.
Sadly, the program also brings several flaws. For starters, it supports a limited amount of input formats. As for the list of supported output formats, I'm quite unsure as I couldn't export any data (a limitation in the trial version of the tool). Furthermore, the utility occasionally fails to offer quality results, especially when marking large areas from the imported picture for removal.
All in all, Inpaint is a simple tool that's great for removing small-sized elements from your pictures. However, if you're looking for a utility to hide large-sized objects from your photos, I'd suggest you try another image editor.
