Indian Cricket Captain 2003 is a stats based cricket simulation. It was written as a part of my project for my final year engg. in Visual Basic 6. Ever since I learnt C I wanted to make a game on cricket that would be fun and realistic at the same time. I've strived hard to give this game a professional look and feel and also at the end of the day generate realistic scores... You can select from the 9 test playing nations and also your final 11 from a pool of 14 currently contracted players etc. There aren't any strategies to be selected at this point of time but I'll try to implement it in later versions. What I have done is I have formulated an algo. to calculate the outcome of a ball bowled by taking into consideration the batsman's as well as the bowler's averages and also the batting teams runrate... More often than not It produces believable results... The interface is heavily based on that of Icc2002's and all the player! s ! pics & stats have been downloaded from cricinfo.com. I hope I don't disappoint all u cricket lovers.
