ImTOO DVD to Apple TV Converter is a DVD ripper that you can use to convert your DVD movies into video files that your AppleTV will play natively. As you may know, Apple's devices are not the best in terms of input format support. That is the main reason why there are so many converters for those devices. The AppleTV can stream content from iTunes, but iTunes only plays a handful of video formats: H.264, MPEG-4, M4V, and MOV. This app supports all those formats except M4V. There is also support for audio formats such as MP3, M4A, AIFF, AAC, and WAV.
When the application is launched, it will scan your DVD disc and import all the DVD titles that make your movie up. Each DVD title will be treated as a separate movie, which you can convert to any format you want. The program will display the estimated file size next to every DVD title. Before you start converting the movie, you may want to choose an audio or subtitle track from the drop-down menus at the top of the screen.

In my testing, the application performed well when converting media, but it crashed a few times before I was able to successfully convert a file.
