imED is designed to help you encrypt and decrypt text content. This way, you can protect crucial information from being accidentally disclosed to other users.
The program comes with a neat and highly intuitive interface. The main window is divided into two panels – one for adding the input text, and one for previewing the ciphered content. Working with this text encryptor requires you to follow but some simple steps. You just need to enter the information you want to protect as plain text, choose one of the available encryption algorithms, and enter a personal password. As a result, you will get an apparently incomprehensible string of characters. However, you need to remember the secret key combination, as it will be required to decrypt the text. Deciphering the text is just as easy – the steps are the same, but they need to be taken in the inverse order. The only issues you need to remember are the password and the type of algorithm you used for encryption.
This application is a handy tool for securing highly important data. No one will be able to access the protected information unless they have imED installed on their computer, know the secret keys for text decryption, and guess the encryption method.
