iMacsoft DVD to iPhone Converter is a commercial DVD ripper. It can be used to convert your DVD movies into files that can be played on the iPhone. This ripper can convert files to MPEG-4 and H.264, both of which will also play on all the other Apple devices and most modern smartphones and computers.
When you load a DVD disc, all the titles of the files that make up this DVD will be listed. You can then select which ones you want to convert and assign a conversion profile to each one of them. It should be noted that you can assign different profiles to different DVD titles, and this is great.
There is a video player that you can use to preview different titles. There is also a trimmer that you can use if you don't want to convert entire titles.
In my testing, I loaded a DVD movie. Then I trimmed one of the titles to a 1-minute long clip and converted it to one of the H.264 profiles. The conversion process didn't take long and the resulting file played well on QuickTime, which guarantees that it will play on the iPhone as well.
