iFunia AVI Converter is a commercial video converter. It can be of use to you if you need to convert AVI files into other formats. This app restricts the files that you can open with it to .AVI. The output format list is extensive. You can convert files to MKV, MP4, H.264, MPEG-4, M4V, MPG, MOV, and other popular formats.
The application provides a very nice graphical user interface, which consists of a video player, some space for your conversion queue and the conversion settings. Within the conversion settings, you will find the conversion profiles, which are divided by category and you can find all the supported formats under "General Video" menu.
There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and to adjust their brightness and saturation.
As I always say, buying a converter that restricts your options is not a very good decision. There is nothing bad I can say about this application. Nothing at all. But, in all honesty, you can buy one of the more general converters by iFunia or by other brands, and that would be much more useful. Or, if you want to use freeware software, there are tons of very good apps available.
In terms of performance, the application works quite well. It is not the fastest I have tried, but it isn't the slower either. The files that I converted with it looked good on VLC.
