iCoolsoft iPad Manager for Mac is an iOS management app. It allows you to manage the content of your iOS device. It supports the iPhone 3G/S and 4, the iPod Touch and the iPad. I tested it with iOS 5 and it is already supported. Basically, with this application, you can download your devices' music, videos, pictures and ringtones back to your Mac, and you can also put content on it. The app comes with a video converter and DVD ripper that lets you convert video files and DVDs so that they can be uploaded to your iPad.
Graphically, and functionally, the application isn't any different than all the other "iPad managers" out there. On the left, you see your connected devices and data categories. When you click on one of the categories, you will find a list of all the files on your device, and you can select them to copy them back to your Mac.
In my testing, as I mentioned I used an iOS 5, iPad 2. I was able to download my pictures, music and videos. Of course, the trial version of this app limits you on the number of items that you can download and upload and their size. However, it is nice that the trial version does let you fully test the app before having to purchase.
