iCoolsoft DVD Ripper for Mac is a video conversion tool that can be used to convert your DVD movies to a host of video and audio formats. Movies can be loaded from the DVD disc, a folder on your Mac and even from IFO files, which makes the app very convenient. The output format support is quite good. Most modern and popular video and audio converters are supported, and there are a ton of conversion profiles for devices like the iPhone, iPod Touch, AppleTV, gaming consoles, and other multimedia playback devices.
When you load a movie, a list of all the DVD titles that make it up will be displayed. You select the ones that you want to convert by checking a small box on the left side of the snapshot. You can convert different DVD titles to different formats all in the same process.
The app comes with a video player on its main window that can be used to play DVD titles before you convert them. There is also a video editor that can trim and crop the titles and adjust their brightness, contrast and saturation. In the format selection drop-down menu, you will find all the available formats neatly organized into categories.
I tested many DVD rippers by iCoolsoft and they all have worked just fine. This one is no exception. Subtitles work as they should and the conversion quality is excellent.
