iconMagic is an app that allows you to change folder icons. Simply drag and drop the image from any source to the left box and the file or directory whose icon you want to change to the right. You can use any image file format like: PNG, JPG, TIFF, etc.
SetiDockling monitors and displays work from Seti@home and Distributed.net clients in the dock.
