iConify is a Mac program that comes in handy to iOS app developer and provides you with a quick and simple way to generate icons for your new iOS utilities. The application features a straightforward interface, supports drag-and-drop actions, and works with many image formats.
Before importing any files within the program, make sure you configure the output settings according to your needs. The application automatically starts generating your icon files as soon as you load your pictures. Once you finish configuring the app's settings, drag-and-drop your image over the interface of the utility and wait for the results.
With just one click you can open the folder containing your generated icon files. Simply click the "iConify Folder" button from the bottom side of the program and a new Finder window will be displayed on your desktop.
Two things I'd change about this utility. One would be to add the ability to select a destination folder for the generated icon files. Another feature would be to include an option to choose the exact resolutions you need (for example, 180x180 and 40x40).
However, the program does an incredible job generating the icons you need in just a few moments and without slowing down the performance of your system. Plus, it's free. So, you should give it a try if you ever need to easily create icon files for your iOS apps.
