The app opens with a minimalist user interface. The lack of complicated settings makes this tool ideal for creating temporary icons for the apps you develop. Therefore, all you need to do is fill in a text to appear on the icon, select the desired platform out of three available operating systems, choose a favorite background color either from presets or from the color wheel, and finally, press the Export button. Consequently, the app will generate AppIcon.appiconset files with icons in all sizes required by Xcode. However, getting round corners and adding custom images as background aren't supported.
Though the app is far from being a comprehensive icon maker, you may find it useful for creating ordinary icons you temporarily use in your projects. The new icons aren't spectacular, yet they are a better alternative to the blank icons on your home screen.
