For sharing a program on the Mac App Store it's necessary to have all the screenshots of the product following a certain pattern: format and resolution. Icns Builder is a utility that provides you with an easy and quick way to obtain the right snapshots you need for uploading to the aforementioned store.
This program not only lets you create icons for your Mac apps but it also helps you generate icon files for iOS and Android utilities which you can upload to iTunes Store and Play Store.
All you need to do in order to get the icon you require is to drag-and-drop the image file over the app interface. Then, you can select a destination folder for the generated files and wait for the results. The app takes a very small amount of time to provide you with icons you need.
Another advantage is that it supports a wide variety of input formats and doesn't slow down the performance of your Mac while generating the icon files.
Therefore, I'd say it's worth installing and working with this program on your computer if you ever need to generate icon files for your Mac, iOS, and Android apps. Plus, it's free of charge.
