Hounds: The Last Hope is an online massive multiplayer game (MMO) in which you are the new recruit of a human army whose objective is to fight against rogue aliens that invaded Earth. As you can see, the premise is nothing new; you may have heard it in many other games, movies and so on. Nevertheless, the game has its own twists and features.

First of all, you can create up to five different characters to choose from, each with its unique characteristics. You can choose among four different categories of soldiers: Assault, Tech, Support, and Specialist. You can customize almost every feature of each, from their skin and hair color to the clothes and protective gear they wear. You can use only one of these characters at a time.

The game has a training feature that will let you familiarize with the game and its features; unfortunately, the program lacks a useful Help file that can give information on different subjects relevant to the gameplay. You will need to use the game for a while and learn to use it by trial and error.

The game has very good graphics and effects and does not have any music, which adds to the realistic effect it conveys.

Although the game is free to download and play, you can purchase elements such as weapons and other enhancements for your characters.
