Houdini is a chess engine that adapts its search strategy to prefer tactical solutions rather than positional moves in the root position. It uses calibrated evaluations in which engine scores correlate directly with the win expectancy in the position. It also includes a Tactical Mode that will find solutions to your chess positions.
