Highland 2 is a software program designed to ease the work of those who want to write scripts, plays, novels without using the pen and the paper. Using a well-organized interface, with templates and sample collection improves the efficiency and helps users to have a better view of their project.
The graphical interface has a friendly look and it's extremely easy to navigate through its tabs. The icons are nicely crafted, but at times the projects tend to load a bit slow. Also, it would've been nice to have some options to customize the background.
With Highland 2, individuals don't need to tap the Tab key anymore, because the program automatically does this. Also, it is capable of recognising scene headers like INT and EXT, and it lets users to preview their project.
Other useful functions include Sprints and Goals, where you can set and track your writing sessions. More, as you write, you are able to see various Stats like reading time, number of words and characters, or you can customize the Headers and Footers.
Overall, Highland 2 is a nice tool to use if you want to write novels, screenplays, or even blog posts, cause it provides a better way to start and manage your project.
